21. Candidate Feedback
We contacted one of the deployed Caterpillar Dealer Trained Heavy Equipment Mechanics that were deployed into the Caterpillar Dealer’s field service division in Australia.
He is still working for the same Australian Caterpillar dealership. But he is no longer employed as a field service mechanic, his name is Leon, and he progressed up through the Cat dealership and is by all accounts now ‘killing it’ as Field Service Supervisor for the Australian Caterpillar Dealer.
Leon is a part of a team of over 160 people covering Cat surface mining, construction, quarrying, waste, agricultural and marine equipment.
Leon was pretty relaxed when he first talked with Dennis from Skilled Migration Group in Wales many years ago, and Leon hasn’t changed a bit.
This is what he had to say:
He said he was happy to share his journey and he said “to anyone thinking about making the move from Wales to work for a Caterpillar Dealer in Australia, I say take the chance and run with it, you’ll never regret it”.
Leon also could not praise highly enough the Australian Caterpillar dealer that employed him nearly fourteen years ago - he has nothing but good things to say about the company and said they had been very fair to work for, more than fair he said.
Leon, Dennis said you told him over 14 years ago that you were committed to making the move to Australia, and if given the chance that you would not let the Australian Caterpillar Dealer down.
Leon you are a man of your word, the Cat dealer has not been let down, and that Cat dealer is very lucky to have you working with them.
Congratulations Leon, on 14 years’ service and counting, and may there be many more!
That was Leon the Field Service Supervisor.
We are Skilled Migration Group and Quality Never Goes Out Of Style.
