Experience Summary

I am a Heavy Duty Technician with 13 years of experience in the mining industry. In that time I have gained full experience as both a Heavy Duty Mechanic and an Auto Electrician, which allows me to diagnose and repair both the mechanical and electrical systems on heavy equipment.

Throughout my career my responsibilities have included:
- Mechanical Repairs: Overhauling and maintaining engines, transmissions, differentials, hydraulics, braking systems, and cooling systems on haul trucks, excavators, loaders, dozers, and other mining equipment.
- Auto Electrical: Diagnosing and repairing wiring, sensors, ECMs, lighting, starting and charging systems, and fault codes using diagnostic tools and electrical schematics.
- Preventative Maintenance: Carrying out scheduled services to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life.
- Troubleshooting: Quickly identifying root causes of mechanical and electrical faults to minimize downtime in 24/7 mining operations.
