250 hours service:
-Engine oil, air cleaner(primary & secondary), oil filter, fuel filter & fuel screen Change out ,do the change out of transmission ,torque converter, transfer-case, engine oil, & hydraulic tank breathers, take all oil samples {engine(15W40), powertrain(AC 30), hydraulic(HYD 46), coolant(AF-NAC), P.T.O(AC 30), final drive (AC 50) or (SAE 85W140), refill the grease chamber for all rotating component (work equipment assembly, ripper assembly, stabilizer bar & equalizer bar.) do undercarriage inspection for loose bolts of track & carrier roller, sprocket segment, master link, track guide, minor & major bogie.do inspection for leaks on recoil spring, pivot shaft, repair & close all pending work order.
500 hour service:
-Do 250 hour service, powertrain (transmission) oil filter & screen change out,(for motor grader GD825A-2 the following has to be changed; engine, transmission, differential, tandem, hydraulic breathers, cutting-edge change out for motor grader GD825A-2, bulldozer D275A-5, D375A-6,D375A-6R, D475A-5 & D475A-8R), refill the grease chamber for all required rotating component (work equipment assembly, ripper assembly, stabilizer bar & equalizer bar), do undercarriage inspection such as loose bolts, cracks, leaked oil & deformation on (track chain, track roller, carrier roller, track guide, track roller bogie, idler cushion, sprocket segment, final drive), repair & close all pending work order.
1000 hour service:
-Do 250,500 hour services, hydraulic filter & screen change out, repair & close all back log.) do undercarriage inspection for loose bolts of track & carrier roller, sprocket segment, master link, track guide, minor & major bogie.do inspection for leaks on recoil spring, pivot shaft. For motor grader GD825A-2 we need to service the air dryer for pneumatic system.
2000 hour service:
-Do 250, 500 & 1000 hour services, oil change to all vessel such as powertrain[transmission] oil(TO30), hydraulic oil(HO46-HM), final drive oil(SAE85W140), coolant(AF-NAC). Repair & close all back log and defect identification.) do undercarriage inspection for loose bolts of track & carrier roller, sprocket segment, master link, track guide, minor & major bogie.do inspection for leaks on recoil spring, pivot shaft.
Component change out on the following equipment:
-Komatsu Bulldozer: side-frame, push-arm, engine, powertrain, final drive, work equipment, ripper assembly.
-Komatsu Motor Grader; engine, powertrain, tandem, final drive, circle-drive, ripper assembly, drawbar, Hydroshift transmission, work equipment, pneumatic system.
-Liebherr Crawler Tractor;
Engine, P.T.O, final drive, track chain
-Komatsu Wheel Dozer & Wheel Loader;
Engine, powertrain, brake group, front & rear axle, work equipment, final drive.
Attend to following breakdown on Komatsu & Liebherr Equipment ;
-Komatsu Diesel Engine (SAA6D140E-2, SA6D170E-3 & SA12V140E-3) loss of power.
CAUSES; (1) Insufficient intake of air, check for clogged air cleaner element by check the dust indicator gauge & replace the air cleaner element. (2) Air leakage from air intake piping, check possible damage to air intake pipe. (3) Insufficient supply of fuel, possible check for clogged fuel filter & conduct a fuel pressure test. (4) leaking fuel pipe, check for the tresses of leaked fuel or smell. (5) Contaminant in fuel system, check for foreign material through the fuel water separator element. (6) Defective turbo charger, check for charge pressure sensor loose harness & charge pressure using a scan tool Komatsu Intelligence Machine Control (IMC). (7) Engine temperature high, check for the level of coolant into the radiator, leaked coolant , clogged radiator core, loose harness of engine temperature sensor.
-Machine can't travel at any gear speed.
CAUSES; (1) Insufficient powertrain oil(TO30), check the level of powertrain oil & leaks, refill. (2) Clogged powertrain breather, a clogged powertrain breather cause pressure in the transmission to rise hence oil trapped in the galleries causing the sensor to led insufficient powertrain oil. (3) Defective powertrain pump, conduct a powertrain pump test to check the pressure. (4) Incorrect set pressure of transmission main relief valve, directly check that the spring length and the number of shims are normal
and also that the spool moves smoothly. (5) Defective operation of transmission valve(ECMV), carry out pressure test on each of the gears to verify the standard pressure. (6) Defective operation of brakes, check possible damage to park brake links & park brake pressure.
-Excessive hydraulic drift of blade lift cylinder;
CAUSES. (1) Defective seal of blade lift cylinder, check possible excessive temperature high of a blade lift cylinder. (2) Defective quick drop valve, check possible leak from the fitting. (3) Defective sealed blade lift control valve(spool) , check possible leaks from the seal at the control valve on the spool of blade lift cylinder.
-Sort out all leaks:
Hydraulic hose rapture, engine leak (coolant, fuel, oil), powertrain leak, final drive leak, replace broken & missing bolts and component of all equipment to minimize down time.

-Carry out inspection on the carrier; diesel engine (Deutz BF4l914), hydraulic drilling system, powertrain, greasing system, brake system, water & air system, cable reel.
Stationary Air Compressor (Atlas Copco GA90 & GA160)
Do a walk around inspection and check the following components; air filter for clogged and damaged filter housing, fan for damaged fan blade, safety valve for proper functionality, air cooler for leaks and damaged fins, air receiver for leaks and damages, oil cooler for leaks and damaged, check valve for proper functionality, oil drain plug, air receiver for corrosion and proper functionality, oil drain plug, oil cooler for leaks, compressor element for damaged gears, drive motor for loose connection of electric cable, unloader for proper functionality and damages, minimum pressure valve for proper functionality, loading solenoid valve, proper connection and functionality.
Preventive Maintenance Schedule
-Daily inspection: check reading on display, check that condensate is discharging during loading.
-500 Hours service; operate safety valve (SV), remove, dismantle and clean float valve of moisture trap (moisture trap), clean compressor, check for possible leaks, check coolers (air cooler & oil cooler); clean if necessary, remove air filters (AF) and inspect.
-2000 hours service: for ga/ga w 13 bar and 200 psi, yearly 2000 4.3/4.4/4.7 8 when atlas Copco Roto-Injectfluid is used, change oil.
Replace oil filters, carry out a led/display test, have all flexibles inspected, replace air filters, have safety valves tested, have the compressor inspected by an Atlas Copco
service, representative, have operation of sensors, electrical Interlocking and components, tested by an electrician, check restrictor (RF2) and also restrictor upstream of oil stop valve, (vs) for cleanness.
-4000 Hour Service: For GA/GA W 7.5/10 bar and 100/125/150 psi, 4000 4.3/4.4/4.7 8 when Atlas Copco Roto-Injectfluid is used, change oil.
Faults & Diagnostic associated with GA90 & GA160 remedies:
Unit is shut-down;
-This is an indication that either the outlet temperature is too high or that the motor overload relay has tripped. consult the "user manual for Elektronikon regulator" to remedy the trouble and to reset the message.
Condensate is not discharged from moisture trap during loading;
-Discharge pipe clogged
-Check and correct as necessary
-Float valve malfunctioning
-Remove float valve assembly, clean and check
